Awards galore for St Lawrence Battle of Flowers!

Susan Parker of St Lawrence Battle of Flowers is delighted to report from the tropical Avenue that “our Junior float “Madhatter’s Tea Party” won the top Prix d’Honneur award, the Spectators Award, the Mary Bidan Junior Design Award, the Grand Prix des Paroisses Junior Award and the Animation Award Juniors! Such great news and well deserved. All the children and teenagers did fantastically well and worked so hard all week in the heat on our Junior float.” Additionally we’ve just heard that the senior float of “Battle of Flours” has been awarded the much coveted Most Humourous Award! Such fantastic results for this dedicated team of volunteers who welcome helpers of all ages each year.
