Last chance to apply to vote by post – Noon, Thursday 30 April
Islanders wishing to vote by post in this year’s election are reminded to submit their applications for postal voting by 12 noon on Thursday 30 April 2026.
All registered voters can choose to vote by post. It offers a convenient and flexible way to engage in the 2026 election.
To be a postal voter, Islanders can simply download, complete and return the Postal Voting Application Form and submit it to the Judicial Greffe before the deadline, forms are also available at the Parish Hall.
Announcement of Candidates
A full list of election candidates for Senators, Connétables and Deputies was released on Monday 27 April.
Names, photographs, and manifestos for all candidates are available on Vote.je.
Candidate Fayre : Wednesday 29 April, Oakfield Sports Centre
Islanders can meet election candidates in person at Jersey’s first Candidate Fayre taking place on Wednesday 29 April at Oakfield Sports Centre on Wellington Road, St. Saviour.
Designed to enable 1-to-1 conversations with voters of all ages, each candidate will have a stand where Islanders can speak with them directly, ask questions, and learn more about their priorities ahead of the election.
The event is open to the public at the following times:
- 10.30am – 12.30pm
- 1.30pm – 4.00pm
- 6.00pm – 8.00pm
A FREE shuttle bus will be running from Liberation Station to Oakfield to take members of the public to and from the event. There is no requirement to book a spot, please just arrive 5 minutes before the departure time.
The shuttle will be running from STAND B outside Liberation Station.
